Campfire Roasting Sticks

Whether you call it a camping fork or a campfire roasting stick, it's what you'll need for roasting hot dogs or making smores over a fire. The telescoping forks are nice but they're too short, requiring you to get uncomfortably close to the fire. My plan is increase the reach and add a big wood handle. Making Better Chainsaw Bucking Spikes | Milwaukee M18

My biggest complaint about the Milwaukee M18 chainsaw (2727) is the bucking spikes. They're so small that the body of the saw ends up pressing into the log. This could end up bending the bar if the cut isn't straight. Good spikes are large enough to leave a gap between the log and the saw body. We're gonna remedy that problem by making new spikes that are more like the ones on a Husqvarna chainsaw

Mower Valve Adjustment | John Deere JA62 Briggs & Stratton

My John Deere JA62 lawn mower is almost 24 years old and I've never adjusted the valves. It has a 6.5HP Briggs & Stratton 121000 series engine. The manual states the that the exhaust valve clearance should be between 0.004 and 0.008 while the intake valve clearance should be between 0.004 and 0.006 when measured 1/4" (6mm) past top dead center.
