Repairing a 22 year old Makita G1300R generator. The generator was manufactured in Japan in 1998. This thing was a mess, the gas tank was full of rust, the carburetor was filthy, and the fuel strainer bowl contained unidentified black goo. See the links below for the parts and tools I used:
